Goonj invites applications for Goonj Grassroots Fellowship 2021-22 from matriculation passed students. Goonj envisions growing as an idea across regions, economies, and countries using urban discard as a tool to alleviate poverty and enhance the dignity of the poor in the world. The selected candidate will receive a monthly emolument of INR 10,000 per month.
What is Goonj Grassroots Fellowship
- The one-year Goonj Grassroots Fellowship includes:
- Learning in-depth about issues like infrastructural development, menstrual health, education, livelihood and disaster relief-rehabilitation, etc.
- Performing on the ground with Goonj operational and field teams in Assam, Bundelkhand, Chattisgarh, Odisha, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Bihar, Maharashtra, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, etc
- Capacity building workshops, shadowing experience with sector specialists aside from hands-on training about key skills like communication, financial planning, monitoring, and evaluation, etc.

Goonj Grassroots Fellowship 2021-22 Eligibility
- An applicant must be between 21 and 35 years of age
- They must be an Indian citizen
- The age of candidates must be in between 21 to 35 year old.
- Candidates must have passed the matriculation certificate
